Moto GP - 250cc - Catalunya

The second race of the day is the 250cc race and Bautista, Aoyama and Simoncelli are separated by 22 points so the points from these races will make alot difference as the year progresses. Simoncelli however is nowhere to be seen as there seems to be problems with his bike after coming off early on in the race. Bautista led for the majority of the race, with only 12 laps left to race, he found himself in a comfortable 2 second lead from Barbera. The battle for first may have been relatively over but the battle for second had only just begun between Barbera and Pasini. With 7 laps left the race seemed pretty set as Bautista, Barbera and Pasini were taking control of the podium positions with a distance between each of them.
